as christians, we aim to live for the glory of god - primarily by living for the wellbeing of others. who we are in this neighborhood, who we are in this city, what we bring to this world.these speak miles more about us as a church than what we do within four walls on sunday mornings.

it's not just about our compassion ministry taking a missions trip to mexico or guatemala or working in a soup kitchen - it's about treating our neighbors, salespeople, grocery baggers, coffee pourers, mailmen and mailwomen with the respect, dignity, love and interest that jesus would afford them. it's about patience and truthfulness.answering the question of what it means to live in the light.
